Writing program faculty appointments

In these 20-minute sessions, you will work one-to-one with writing program faculty and set your own writing agenda based on your individual writing needs. Use this time to discuss drafting, revising, or polishing your writing. To prepare for this appointment, you may bring questions, a printed or electronic copy of your writing—whatever resources you prefer.

Library appointments

In these 20-minute sessions, you'll work with library staff who are experienced in source searches and research organization methods. Use this time to discuss finding resources for the dissertation literature review or any other library-related questions.

Research methodology appointments

In these 20-minute sessions, you'll work with faculty who are experienced in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodology and statistical approaches. Use this time to ask general questions about the design of dissertation topics, or get suggestions on specific methods or models (such as research models, statistical approaches to test hypotheses, or the interpretation of data). To prepare for this appointment, please have questions ready.

Institutional review board appointments

In these 20-minute sessions, you'll work one-to-one with an IRB consultant to discuss preparation for the IRB review of your dissertation proposal. Come prepared with questions and an electronic copy of your IRB application or supporting materials on a USB device, Flash drive, or other device.
